Collaboration of Artemis Engineering with Beyond Disaster Management Center of the National Observatory of Athens in Aerial Disaster Assessment of the Catastrophic Fire in Mati Area (East Attica) (5 square km)

In Jyly 2018 we collaborated with the BEYOND Disaster Management Center of the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications & Remote Sensing of the National Observatory of Athens in creating an orthophoto map for the purpose of the detailed assessment of the disaster at the level of a building block in the settlement of Mati (East Attica) with Drones / UAV systems of ultra high spatial resolution (3.5 cm).
The orthophoto map covers a total area of 4,318 acres, and was compiled using ultra- high resolution aerial photographs taken on 25/07/2018 using Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) / Falcon-type UAVs.
